We had a good dinner at Tacos and Tequila! The online reviews are a bit mixed… we thought it was pretty good. Our waitress was decent, although she did disappear at times (it wasn’t crowded, we could see the few tables she was serving). The prices are expensive for the value here, $20+ for cocktails… when you add the island’s 17.5% taxes at restaurants, a $200 tab happens quickly. (PS the suggested tips are based on the inflated “after taxes” bill amount… watch out for that!).
The octopus ceviche was decent, a bit fishy (pretty common in PR for seafood). The chips served with it were good. We had the seared tuna in green mole next… that was better! The gastro star of the nice was our last dish, the chicken tinga tacos. We agreed we should have started there! LOL Tacos and Tequila is located in a posh hotel, worth the visit to walk around. A good meal, we recommend it…

Exactly stop for a nice meal by the ocean. It’s inside the hotel, right beside the hotel pool.
Get a table outside and listen to the waves crash. We ordered the Torta, and Chicken Quesadilla. Both of which were recommended by the staff. I would definitely go back. It’s not the cheapest, but worth the price!

That guacamole was life. I could eat here every day. The tacos were amazing, too. The view was amazing. Staff is very friendly. 10/10 recommend.

It is such a beautiful view for a sunset dinner. I brought my mother and sister, who were visiting from Georgia, the best tacos on Ashford! I absolutely recommend the table-side guacamole too.

We enjoyed some yummy tacos and Elotes. The Al Pastore and Carnita tacos were our favorite. Christian, our server was so friendly!
