This was the best rated pizza near the cruise port. Just FYI. You have to claim to their second story for dining room.
I had the mozzarella squares were absolutely phenomenal and I had a margarita pizza. What disappointed me about the pizza. Was it the added tomato slices and pesto. You should keep margarita International and keep it simple. Basil would have been enough. Service was good. Complimentary refills which was a nice touch

Every time I visit Old San Juan, I eat lunch/dinner at Pirilo. The service is quick. The restaurant itself is spacious and I appreciate the rustic/vintage design with family photos from the past.
The food is just amazing. I recommend the garlic knots and the stuffed mushrooms for appetizer. I appreciate that they have the option to order a pizza that's "half and half" to be able to enjoy two flavors. The Hawaiian is great but if you want to try something different I really like "La Griega". A classic mojito pairs great! 💯 recommend.

Wow, wish I could speak spaniel. However our waiter was awesome and did the best. Has a half and half pizza cheese / veggie, daughter had the mushroom ravioli and was in love! Had a great time and the atmosphere was amazing.

Loved the pizza and the staff was friendly. Had to wait but gave us time to visit old San Juan. They called us when our table was ready. Food was out hot and delicious. Highly recommended

While it’s unfair to compare Puerto Rico’s pizza offerings to those in New York City or other renowned pizza capitals, I recently visited a pizza spot in the heart of Old San Juan with hopeful expectations. Situated upstairs, the restaurant has a charming, old-style Italian ambiance upon entry, sparking initial excitement. However, that feeling faded once I sat down.
I ordered the traditional Margherita pizza, which arrived topped with sliced, unripe tomatoes and a green sauce drizzled across. Unfortunately, the tomatoes lacked the ripeness that typically enhances this classic, and their firmness detracted from the experience. Additionally, the green sauce – possibly a pesto-infused oil – seemed an unnecessary twist that overshadowed the simplicity of a traditional Margherita.
The overall texture leaned on the doughy side. While truly outstanding pizza can be hard to come by in Puerto Rico, this pizza was admittedly better than many other options on the island, though it still left something to be desired.
I’m open to giving it another try, hoping for a refined experience on my next visit.
