Solid 4 stars for the food. The enchiladas were really good and different than I've ever had elsewhere. The place itself was really cool inside. However, the margarita was awful - worst I can remember. The mixer was your standard bottled Mr and Mrs T, and that's fine if not great. The salt rim was IODIZED SALT with some sort of lime salt added. That really took away from the experience. If they replaced the salt with some kosher salt or diamond crystals, and squeezed a bit of actual lime in there, this place would be 5 stars.
Don't let the poor marg review scare you though. Order a beer instead and enjoy the food - it really is good

The tacos here were good- decent and the elote was delicious. The drinks were good- the only thing is that they need more staff- they had the bartender attending all of the tables in the restaurant as well. I had good company so I didn’t mi d the wait but they could do better since the food was good!

Good authentic Mexican food for a fair price. Several vegetarian options available. I stayed at the hostel just one block away and I wish I had discovered this place earlier. The staff is also lovely and helpful.

Truly wonderful experience from entry to exit. Special staff special food prep special menu special drinks. Worth every bit. Hidden location but plenty of parking in a usually congested area. Cheers to many more years of well deserved success! See you again soon!

Having eaten a lot of Mexican food (like a 1/4 century). I must exclaim that I have went here twice. Puerto Rican food to me is significantly different than Mexican food. The Mexican food that I am used to arrived in the fashion I was used to... minus the 2nd grilled corn tortilla with each one of my tacos Al Pastor. They only served one tortilla... why this matters is no matter how fast I eat those tacos the 1st and only tortilla is going to give way spilling it's contents on my hands--and possibly lap. The Tacos Al Pastor were delicious but I had to use my silverware to fish out the bits that fell out with my silverware. Their taste in Margaritas and food was on point. Only minor issues. Enjoyed overall.
