Very pleasant and calm place to go for lunch or dinner. Portions were really good for the price and we left happy and full. Staff was really nice too. Definitely recommend.

My family and I enjoyed our early dinner at La Patrona. The veggie burrito was filled with veggies such as carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower. It's not like a Tex-Mex burrito with beans inside (and it's not claiming to be either). The portions were pretty good. The chips and salsa were nice, however the salsa was very mild (too mild, in my opinion - almost flavorless). The best part was the service - our waiter was very kind and helpful. He could speak English as well as Spanish.

Food was mild and full of grease. We ordered a queso fundido and they literally melted a cube of queso de papa. The whole thing was full of grease and was like rubber. My husband ordered a birria tacos and they had barely any flavor plus we got out of the establishment with a stomach ache. I don’t recommend at all, though their service was nice and attentive and their decore was unique. Food ain’t worth the price.

The food and drinks were great but I had to wait 15 minutes to get my food after everyone else at the table already had theirs. I found it very disrespectful, they should bring it out all together even if it going to take a bit longer. By the time I got my food everyone else was close to being done. It makes it uncomfortable for everyone at the table.
