This is one of those restaurants with an appealing atmosphere but disappointing food. The service was friendly and effective. The menu has one or two interesting options. If you come I would suggest the dish called "La Madre". It is tasty and enjoyable. I was not impressed with the tacos or the prime burrito. The seasoning tries to be different and innovative, but at the end is nothing too special. The great disappointment was the fact that they refused to accommodate the gluten allergy that a friend in our party has. All she asked for was to remove the risky elements from one dish, but the poor server came all frazzled to deliver the message that they would not do it, which I found hilarious when, nowadays, accommodating all types of allergies is an industry standard. But, overall, I find the restaurant nothing to remember. Good atmosphere but that is about it.

Was in the mood for some Mexican food while staying in Old San Juan PR 🇵🇷. Read some reviews about this place so decided to give it a shot.
I was not disappointed.
The food is delicious and very authentic. I had the pork belly tacos, while people in our party had the duck quesadillas. All of it was good.
Since the restaurant was full we sat in the alley which in itself was a vibe.
Don’t think about it, head to this place if you want something else besides PR food.

Service was absolutely outstanding. They offer us a choice to stay inside or outside. First we choose inside but change to outside later they was very patient and pleasant. Spicy pina colada and Caribbean Cherry margarita was 5* absolutely worth the price. So far the best tacos we tried in old San Juan. Pork belly highly recommended. For taco lovers definitely a place to go!!!

Wow oh wow. Stumbled upon this place last minute and was blown away by the food. We got the flautas and fondue and they were a 12/10. Even the coconut margarita was great! First time here and will be back again soon!

We were walking around Old San Juan and stubbled upon this place. It was well worth it, there were two people that were wonderful, very attentive. One person that didn't care so much. We loved the vibe, the alt music, the food, and drinks. They have two other restaurants too, one being a mezcal bar right next door with no signage. We recommend both of these places! Plus, they have great pozole
