I see most of these reviews are from the includes gratuity they throw in. But if we’re judging on food, then that’s different. I had the mofongo with shrimp and my partner had the arroz con gandules with breaded steak and nothing was left behind. Also one of the few places that serve an authentic pina colada. It’s in Condado, so yes, it’s geared towards tourists, but we enjoyed what we came for which was a hearty lunch on a Saturday afternoon.

I don’t see us coming back to this place, even though they served us an authentic piña colada! Be aware that they automatically charged a 22% tip, even though we were just two people.
we ordered a mid-sized red snapper fish, which was really good. My husband also ordered arroz con gandules (yellow rice with beans); we told them we wanted something without pork, but while my husband was eating, we saw a sticky thing in the rice that looked like a soft, bony cartilage.
They responded that it was “spice.” I don’t know what kind of spice looks like that!
The location is really good, but they need to improve their quality of service. We sat outside, wanting to have a nice, traditional Puerto Rican dinner, but the doubt about pork almost ruined it.

We were glad to have stumbled upon this restaurant! The food was great so was the service! I ordered bistec encebollado and it was probably the best I’ve ever had - it just melts in your mouth.
I can only hypothesize that those who provided negative reviews did not appreciate cultured food.

We had a great experience here. I ordered the ceviche with a side of tostones. It was fantastic. My sister ordered tostones with shrimp. She loved it, but wished more shrimp would’ve been served. She said it was too little shrimp for the tostones. We also ordered the pitcher of sangria. It was so delicious. Deyairis was so friendly and had a big smile every time she came to our table. We loved her. There was also an older gentleman who was so nice and accommodating. We arrived late, around 11:30 pm on a Wednesday night, and they were fantastic and accommodating. I really loved this place. I want to go back.

Waitresses were very attentive. The menu was a little pricey but the beer was ice cold. I ordered a mofongo de carne frita. Mofongo was on point. Needed to get topped off with chimichuri sauce to give it that kick. Carne frita had some fat but chunky pork chunks. I would have ordered it more crispy for that chicharon flavor. Overall it was a great spot. Was able to see the crowd walking on the strip while drinking a corona.
