Good food and responsive staff. All of the plates of food were large. Only downside was the screaming woman at a table near ours who spotted a cockroach in their booth.

Hijole was this Gringo's first taste of mofongo. I'm a guy who does not like bananas or plantains. I LOVE ME SOME MOFONGO! I ordered the pollo fajitas mofongo. The chicken was bland, but the mofongo was ON POINT! My family also ordered some meals that were ok/good (5-star is for the mofongo alone). The service, however, was lacking. Our young server was attentive to our order, and then we were forgotten about. At first, we thought it was "island time" that was holding up our food. I think our server forgot about us. 45-minutes after we had ordered, he stated the large party caused the delay. At this point, he was again attentive to our food order (finally bringing salsa for our chips). What makes me think he forgot about us is I had to flag him down for my wife to remind him of her bartended drink. He asked "what kind would you like?" in the manner of a young man who never received the first order and had not reviewed it when he explained the delay. He also had to come back and tell my son of some things they were out of for his plate, a few minutes after my wife ordered her drink for the second time and came out wrong. The atmosphere was fun, though, and our server was fun and personable too!

The service was incredible. We don't Spanish so we were very thankful to our server who helped us order the best food on the menu. Free shots were offered as we sat down but being sober we had to turn them down, I do think it was a great gesture welcoming us. Everything was very fresh and delicious.

It was my birthday and I wanted to try a few different places out that we’ve never tried before. This was our last stop and we immediately felt like family. Even though we did not speak Spanish we were able to order come tacos and a margarita. The staff was very friendly and the food was amazing!!!

Great service from Liz and tasty food, my family will definitely come back. Great prices as well and we were able to make our own order. The restaurant is very clean and Covid safe. Highly recommend if you are in Dorado.
