Super friendly (and hot) bar tender. He was the highlight! A little bit of a slow night, not a big fun vive for a Friday evening. Food was very good, but not Mexican, ie the al-pastor was pulled pork. Not by a country mile.

Good food. I would love to go back there. The salt is just the right amount unlike most of the food places we went to. I noticed that we’re the only ones there. Probably because it was a Mexican food place and not from PR. People were lining up in other known places to have PR food.

I’m not sure why this place has such good reviews. Maybe we came on an off night, but we won’t be back to find out. Waitress was very pleasant and service was fast, she was the only good thing about this place. The food and drinks were terrible and overpriced. My mango margarita was a greenish black color and had some kind of gritty sediment in it, almost like dirt was in the drink. I couldn’t finish it. The veggie enchiladas had frozen stir fry vegetable mix in it, water chestnuts and all. My friend ordered chicken tacos which were so dry and tough she couldn’t finish them. The elote was alright but is $9 for one ear of corn split in half. The menu said there were 2 per order so we were expecting two entire ears for that price. Spent $80 for two drinks, waters, an ear of corn, and barely edible enchiladas. We left hungry. Skip this place, there are many better options in Viejo San Juan. They are pet friendly.

This place was mostly empty when we got there. The service was great and the servers were very friendly. We went here mostly for food but ended up having a mohito and avocado margarita as well. We had the tacos and corn on the cobb. The food was okayish but the drinks were great.

Carne asada tacos were a hit, so were the plain quesadilla for my picky child. Staff were friendly and attentive, but then again, we were the only ones in the entire restaurant. I guess people don't come to San Juan looking for Mexican food.
